The Sawed Woman

The Sawed Woman - Mwanamke wa sawn

Having nothing special to do, I'm in quarantine, have to wait until I can test again to be able and allowed to venture out in public again.

What am I doing? I reminisce. They're not always pretty, but sometimes they're really funny.

In my family there is or was a magician. He was a phenomenon. Houdini had a trick, he sawed a woman in two. That was remarkable. Well, my relative had picked up this trick and improved it. He sawed a woman in four pieces.

Some men, husbands or fiancées, thanked them very warmly. Which is understandable!

Corona

Corona

Before I continue to write here, I have to write something about the situation in Austria. About 3 weeks ago we had the highest infected, there were almost 60,000, and that in just one day. In the past 24 hours (as of March 30th, 2022, Wednesday, 9.30 a.m.) 34,743 new corona infections have been reported in Austria - almost 20,000 fewer than a week ago. Those are huge numbers for a nation of nearly 9 million.

It hit me yesterday too. It was only a matter of time before it hit me too, I knew that. And because nobody really knows, I turned to the state government. I asked:

I am positive. Now I've checked, made myself smart. That is not easy. I have a CT value of almost 33. I found this: negative PCR test or CT value ≥ 30. If the CT value is <30, the traffic restriction must be extended until...

How is that possible. I'm positive at 33, actually I should be negative.

What's right now? Who knows that?

I also need a document that I hopefully have recovered. Who issues this? Do I have to take care of it myself?

State government response:

If this was your first positive test, then the CT value is irrelevant. the level of the CT value is only taken into account in the free test from the 5th day of isolation.

The responsible district administration authority (depending on your place of residence) will contact you and give you further information.

I have to make one thing clear. I am now in quarantine for the 4th time and so far no one has cared if I comply or not. My wife was also positive, it's been 10 days now, up to now, no letter, nothing, no document that she has recovered.

Can it be that the government does not provide this document because then the vaccination obligation will no longer apply? This insane train of thought comes to mind.

And so I contacted the hospital.

Reply :

Do you have any complaints or was it an incidental finding? The first point of contact for care at home is your family doctor or 1450; If there is a risk of a severe course of the disease and/or possibly insufficient vaccination protection, there is the possibility in the early phase of the disease either with "passive immunization", i.e. antibodies directed against COVID, which are administered as an infusion or by taking antiviral drugs mitigate infection. The need for this can be evaluated and initiated by 1450 or probably your family doctor and should be initiated as soon as possible after the infection/onset of symptoms becomes known! In the event of severe symptoms or deterioration, please notify the rescue/emergency doctor!

If you have any further questions or should not be able to get any further help via 1450/family doctor, please contact us again!

Get well soon

I'm calling not because I feel ill, because I want to know who is taking care of my health.

Nobody picks up.

Should I be surprised?

Had someone responded, surely the conversation would have been as follows.

Doctor: "You are positive?"

Me: "Yes! Is my illness actually life-threatening?"

"No," says the doctor, "otherwise you would have gotten my bill long ago! How do you feel?"

"Well, I'm kind of dry!"

"What do you mean dry? Does your throat hurt?"

"It's scratching though!"

"That's not a good sign!"

"Doctor, what should I do?"

"The virus is spreading."

"If I had only had one beer, the scratchy throat would have gone!"

"It's too late now!"

"What do you think, Doctor, can I still go to a restaurant to eat something? Is it still worth it? I mean, do I still have enough time?"

"The only advice I can give you is if you want to waste money then go."

The Office - Ofisi

 The Office - Ofisi

The abolition of moral restraints killed conscience itself. There is talk of solidarity, but solidarity from people who have no conscience is a dangerous business. A dynamic of the unrestrained emerges.

Anyone who has ever held an office can certainly report a lot, and that's not always a good thing. This is a problem that most nations have, such excesses can be seen everywhere.

I come to an office. The first question I'm asked is, "What do you want?"

"I received a summons," I reply, bowing respectfully.

"What's your name?"

"Carl Shine."

The good official leafs through his papers. After a while he finds what he was looking for.

"Born?"

"Yes!"

"I mean when were you born?"

"Then why don't you say it?"

"Don't be cheeky! I can do things differently!"

"Me too. By the way, what's an official's morning prayer?"

"I dont know!"

"Didn't expect it either. The answer is very simple: Dear God, don't blame me!"

I laugh.

The officer doesn't laugh. Like all civil servants, he has no sense of humor.

"So when were you born?"

"Why not like that?"

"Reply!"

I tell him my date of birth. At the same time I see some flies in the office. "But you have a lot of flies here!" I state.

The official replies dryly: "Yes, exactly 317 ..."

"You do a hard job here, I have to admit that. Do you find your work difficult?"

"No," he admits, "but it's a disruptive factor between cures, follow-up cures, holidays, public holidays, weekends, company outings..."

"I understand that!"

"Where are you from?"

I turn to the door. Then I look at the officer. "From there!"

Before he can say anything else, the door opens and the head of another officer appears.

"What do you think if we buy an aquarium?" he asks his colleague.

"Don't you think that makes the office too hectic," is his answer.

"How you mean!"

The door closes.

He's pretty annoyed.

"Where's my pen?"

"Yes, behind her ear."

"Don't make it so complicated - behind which one?"

"To my right...so to your left."

"You want to confuse me?"

"But where, I'm just saying what I know."

"Where are you from? Where were you born?"

"Austria."

"I know that, The Sound Of Music."

"That's right, that's where I was born."

"Very nice."

"I agree."

"So why are you here..."

"That would interest me too!"

"For real?"

"But for sure!"

"You must sign here that you were here."

I sign.

"And that was all?"

"Yes."

"What are you doing now?"

"I freaked out. It was exhausting."

"What is the officials' anthem anyway?"

"I do not know you."

"Wake me up before you go go .."

"You have prejudices against officials?"

"I have nothing against officials. They don't do anything!"

The officer scratches his nose. I see it, dryly I say to him: "You get the most out of yourself ..."

"Are you going!"

I'm leaving the office. The fresh air is good for me. I just ask myself one thing: How many people actually work here? The answer can only be: I guess about half! That brings me to the final determination. Which officials are the most annoying in office? It's the ones who talk in their sleep.

The Time - Wakati

 The Time - Wakati

We are the drivers.

But the step of time

take it as a trifle

in the ever lasting. (Rainer Maria Rilke)

Did you notice that everything has changed? Nothing is like it used to be. The time is running out. We notice it, but don't want to notice it. Because we are changing too. Everything is in motion, nothing stays the same!

And myself, I'm running from time, at least try. Will I succeed? I know I'm impatient, I just need to be more patient. The only question is, will it take long? So I don't have time for that either.

Time exists. Some people think that time is a human invention, unfortunately it is not. Time is a physical quantity. The commonly used symbol for time is t, its SI unit is the second s. In the SI system of units, time is one of several base quantities. Time describes the sequence of events, so it has a clear, irreversible direction.

What man invented is how time can be measured. We can see the time. Her: "Why are you running after me all the time?"

Him: "Now that you turn around, I'm wondering that too..."

From this example, everyone can see that time is moving inexorably, we cannot stop it.

In grammar lessons, the teacher tries to explain the tenses to the students with examples.

Teacher: "When I say I'm beautiful, what time is it?"

A cheeky student replies, "Past!"

This is how time goes by. As we said before, we cannot stop time, we can only slow it down. That's not easy either. Time is not linear, it changes with gravity. When we are in space, close to Earth, time is bent by gravity, so time passes slower than on Earth.

When is the only time a man thinks about a candlelit dinner? When the power goes out. This is very often possible with Kenyan Power. Time is running out for him too. Kenyan Power strikes me as a blonde.

How to employ Kenyan Power for several hours? Simply "Turn around please!" write on both sides of a piece of paper.

Met a girl on Saturday. She said she'll call me right after work. The poor woman has been working 72 hours. And with love, time flies by.

Above all, he is impressed by the completely different sense of time, time seems to stretch, its course to slow down, he never enjoys the moment like this before. (Walter Kappacher)

Thoughts of a Dying Man - Mawazo ya mtu aliyekufa

Thoughts of a Dying Man - Mawazo ya mtu aliyekufa

We are human beings. We have our flaws, which we often push aside because they make us uncomfortable. One of those subjects that we happily put aside is death. It's uncomfortable to think about, but we have to do it whether we want to or not. It is a fact that death belongs to life as the moon belongs to the sun. We don't like to think about our death. Death comes, that's for sure, no one escapes. Many people wish they could just fall asleep peacefully one day, unaware they are going to eternity. That would be great. Many create from cancer, from other illnesses, that is really not pleasant.

I wish for a quick death, high on drugs, high on alcohol, maybe with a bottle of beer in my hand. What more can I ask for?

There are different kinds of death. One of them is: The waiting room at the doctor's is full and time is slowly slipping by. Eventually I get up, grab my coat and mumble, "I'm going home and dying a natural death..." Sad but true.

Blondes have it particularly difficult. Death also poses problems for them. Why do blondes always get buried on a mountain? So that they can still be climbed after their death.

It will soon be the case for me too. I don't need life insurance. I want everyone to be really sad when I die. And my doctor sure helped me.

"Doctor, can you help me?"

"Hmm, I'll prescribe you some mud baths first."

"And they help?"

"No, but they're getting used to the damp earth."

And so it ends.

I don't want to go to heaven, it's just boring. I need hookup, rock 'n' roll, beer and beautiful women. What am I supposed to do in heaven? Hallelujah! This is too little. I like adventure and I hope that after my death this wild life will continue. Hallelujah!

My poor gringo - gringo yangu maskini

My poor gringo - gringo yangu maskini

My gringo is sick. I'm sorry for that. And he is very ill. I've tried pretty much everything but nothing has helped.

It all started when he threw up. I still thought it wasn't that bad, but then he stopped eating. That's when things got serious, because a gringo can't leave a meal unattended. He pounces on it and eats until the bowl is empty and glistens as he washes it. The only thing he still does, he drinks water. But he cannot live on water alone!

I tried everything to encourage him to eat something. He just kept throwing up. Today is the fourth day he hasn't eaten. He is weak and can no longer walk properly. I'm just wondering what does he have?

The Divine asked what that could be. A friend said that his or her ears would have to be cut off, then it would be over. (Was that a joke?) I'm just wondering, how can a thinking person come up with such an idea? Of course I turned it down, there was nothing else to do.

The next idea was, and still is, that he's poisoned. That seems very logical to me. It started with him going out onto the field. It could be that he ate some fertilizer, maybe. Gringo eats everything that is halfway to eat. Only, the divine means that the farmers are not planting yet and therefore this theory is not correct. It can be, but it doesn't have to be, the fertilizer can be leftovers from the last planting.

Gringo is a young dog, that's also a problem. And not too little! At night he goes around collecting the shoes that people leave in front of their doors and carries them away. It is important for us to know who owns which shoes so that we can return them in the morning. It may be that someone felt bothered and gave our dear gringo something to eat that is not good for him.

There are a number of ways to dwell on this - it's more useless than useful as it doesn't work and the gringo's suffering continues.

Yesterday, I thought we could lose him. My divine went to the vet and she gave him an injection of antibiotics. This morning he still didn't want to eat, but his eyes are clearer and he's become interested in the world around him. I think that's a good sign. On the negative side, he can't get up. He's too weak, so we take care of him where he is and he's in good hands there, the little one is really at our door, he likes it quite well.

I hope he can still recover. I, for my part, will do whatever is necessary to bring this about.

Learn Swahili - Jifunze Kiswahili

 Learn Swahili - Jifunze Kiswahili

Dear people, what can I do? My divine is getting on my nerves! Now she is learning German and to my surprise I now have to learn Swahili. What an effort! But, on the other hand, what doesn't one do to please one's divine? Yes, really, the next thing will be that she will chase me over hot coals! That'll be the day!

People who speak Swahili as their only mother tongue are usually referred to as Waswahili, but this name refers only to their language and does not denote any specific ethnic or tribal entity. Swahili is widely spoken as a lingua franca in: Tanzania, where it is the language of administration and primary education; Kenya, where it is the main language for these purposes after English; Congo (Kinshasa), where a form of Swahili is one of the four administrative languages, the main language for this purpose being French; and Uganda, where the main language is again English. Swahili has been greatly influenced by Arabic; there are an enormous number of Arabic loan words in the language, including the word swahili, from Arabic sawāḥilī (a plural adjectival form of an Arabic word meaning “of the coast”). This is from the Encyclopedia Britanica. Swahili is on the move, the vocabulary is constantly being expanded through cultural and economic exchange. That's what makes this language exciting.

I've just arrived at Utangulizi (the introduction). On page 1. It's moving fast! I have to say.

Matamshi (pronunciation). Adabu - politeness, I've already learned. This is nothing new for me, my father taught me that. He always said to me: "Politeness doesn't cost anything, that's what the Japanese say." and thats the way it is.

The second word is grandfather (babu). I can hardly remember my grandfather. He died when I was 6 years young.

Chupa, the bottle, probably the most important word. Here in Austria there is a sentence that says it all: "Beer, beer or I'll fall over!"

I'm taking a break for today. The 1st day I learn Swahili. I don't want to exaggerate. I have to go slowly, since it's been a while since I tried to learn something.

My wife, the unknown creature Mke wangu, asiyejulikana

My wife, the unknown creature

Mke wangu, asiyejulikana

It's strange, but it's true. 'A bad wife is worse than poverty.' Biafran Proverb. Poverty is bad, but it can be remedied. Poverty is not a natural phenomenon, a bad woman is. In any case, living alone is better than living with someone who makes you feel alone. It is difficult to write about an interpersonal relationship, so it is better to draw on your own experience.

Life writes the strangest stories. Whatever we do, life knows better. Opposites attract. That should also be true. The explanation for this is very simple. If a couple is always of the same opinion, then it gets boring very quickly. There's no discussion, and that kills a relationship. It's better to argue once than always nod your head in agreement. The reconciliation can then be very beautiful. An old man once said: "You don't use a ladder to climb a woman." How true that is. By the way, this proverb comes from Ghana. They must have clever minds.

But you also have to be careful, not everything that is on the tip of the tongue can be said. It's better to lie to make someone laugh, than telling the truth to make someone cry. Waa means nothing other than that you should be careful with what you say, because a thoughtless word can hurt the other person.

I actually wanted to write about my wife, which I'm doing now. I digressed a bit, hopefully that doesn't matter.

I gave her a new nickname. In fact, she gave it to herself. The story is like this. We were on our way to Nairobi. In fact, this is nothing unusual. We chose a comfortable bus and got on. The bus quickly filled up and so the journey began. After an hour, my divine complained that her legs hurt. That was unusual! Alarm bells were ringing in my head.

"What's the matter with you?" I asked worried.

"My legs hurt!" she replied.

"And where is the pain?"

"Here!" she replied, pointing to her thighs.

I couldn't understand that, we were on the bus so many times, her legs never hurt. There had to be something behind it. Only what? An investigation was necessary. The cause was soon found.

"I can't reach the ground with my legs!"

That was the whole cause. So we looked for a solution, which was soon found. We changed places. Not that my seat was any lower, only my seat had the wheel arch and she could rest her legs on it.

Now I call her "Shorty.." She doesn't like that very much, I do. When I call out "Shorty" she makes a face like she has a lemon in her mouth. I have to smile.

I know I'm no good. I have my bad sides too.

Timbuktu

 Timbuktu

Timbuktu is a Malian oasis city with approx. 55,000 inhabitants, it is a legendary city and, according to the Chronicles of Timbuktu, which were written much later, in the 17th century, it was settled before 1100 AD by nomadic Massufa Tuareg on a Watering hole established near the Niger Bend. Today it is synonymous with the phrase 'completely remote', but this wasn't always the case, as Timbuktu was a major religious, cultural and commercial center for more than 600 years. There was a special treasure in Timbuktu. It wasn't gold and it wasn't precious stones either - but old manuscripts, because Timbuktu was considered the city of books. Every self-respecting family invested in their library. Already Mansa Musa, who ruled over Mali from 1312 to 1337, Supposedly brought back a camel load of manuscripts from his pilgrimage. Timbuktu was famous for educating eminent scholars who were well known throughout the Islamic world. Many individuals traveled to the city to gain knowledge; others came to acquire wealth and political power. Located on the edge of the Sahara, Timbuktu was famous among the merchants of the Mediterranean basin as a market for acquiring goods and products from sub-desert Africa. However, Timbuktu's most famous and long-lasting contribution to Islamic and world civilization is the scholarship practiced there. Important books were written and copied there from at least the 14th century, making the city the center of a significant written tradition in Africa. These ancient manuscripts cover every aspect of human endeavor. The manuscripts indicate the high level of civilization of the West Africans in the Middle Ages and are irrefutable proof of a strong literary tradition in Africa. Scholars in Islamic Studies and African Studies believe that analysis of these texts will lead to a reappraisal of Islamic, West African and world history. Dating back to the 14th century, these manuscripts are remarkable artefacts important to Malian and West African culture. The manuscripts on display date from the 16th to 18th centuries. The manuscripts on display are from the Mamma Haidara Commemorative Library and the Library of Cheick Zayni Baye of Boujbeha, two of the most notable institutions in the Timbuktu region. As part of its ongoing effort to create a universal collection of recorded knowledge from all geographies and all historical eras, the Library of Congress is particularly proud to display these important cultural artifacts from Mali. The library is also pleased that copies of these manuscripts will be deposited in their collections and will be available for researchers and scholars to use. The Ahmed Baba Center was both a library and a research center. It was founded in 1973 with a lot of money from South Africa, and the new building that has now been destroyed was only opened three years ago. What role does the Timbuktu Center for Written Culture play? Many books are still privately owned by families. But the Ahmed Baba Center houses the most important collection of scriptures in Timbuktu because it is so comprehensive. It is also a place for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. Linguists, lawyers, theologians, calligraphers come there and see things from their perspective. Together they get a complete picture and can piece by piece reconstruct the history of the region. And by region I don't mean northern Mali, but also Mauritania, Senegal and Nigeria; a large part of what we now call the Sahel. Calligraphers come there and look at things from their perspective. Together they get a complete picture and can piece by piece reconstruct the history of the region. And by region I don't mean northern Mali, but also Mauritania, Senegal and Nigeria; a large part of what we now call the Sahel. Calligraphers come there and look at things from their perspective. Together they get a complete picture and can piece by piece reconstruct the history of the region. And by region I don't mean northern Mali, but also Mauritania, Senegal and Nigeria; a large part of what we now call the Sahel.

What is the significance of the Timbuktu manuscripts beyond the region? We already have many memory gaps in Africa. Because the use of writing was not widespread, we know little about the history of the continent. The writings of Timbuktu are central to filling these gaps. They document the culture, trade, travel and openness that has existed here. In a way, Timbuktu is the memory of Africa. Around 30,000 books were in the library. What were those writings? Legal writings, scientific, literary. It is a great variety that reflects the culture of the Middle and Far East of the past centuries. The books came from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, even Andalusia. Many works date from the 16th and 17th centuries. Others are even younger, from the 20th century. Among the most valuable pieces are early 12th and 13th century copies of the Koran and other religious texts. The writings on Islamic law are probably the most important. What makes the books and scrolls so valuable? On the one hand, there are objects that have been preserved and protected for centuries. Each generation passed it on to the next. Then there is the aesthetic aspect. Of course there are thousands of copies of the Koran. But when I hold a copy from the 12th century, with beautiful calligraphy and flourishes, it is unique. But the greatest loss if books were truly destroyed would be the ideas that were thought and written down. Most of the manuscripts and scrolls have not yet been cataloged. If the original is damaged or destroyed, there is no copy anywhere. The knowledge would be lost. When the Europeans came, they soon started collecting our old manuscripts and bringing them to Europe. When our ancestors found out, they hid their handwriting. Some buried them. Others have taken them deep into the heart of the Sahara. The vast majority of manuscripts were hidden somewhere during the colonial period.” Some buried them. Others have taken them deep into the heart of the Sahara. The vast majority of manuscripts were hidden somewhere during the colonial period.” Some buried them. Others have taken them deep into the heart of the Sahara. The vast majority of manuscripts were hidden somewhere during the colonial period.”

Then the missionaries and researchers came, they wanted to study the Africans and tell their stories. So they talked to the griots, the storytellers. But they just couldn't find written sources anywhere. And so they then wrote in their books and magazines that there was no written history in Africa. Oral traditions only. This image of Africa has survived to this day. A whole continent - uneducated, wild and cultureless. Haïdara is convinced that this prejudice can be refuted with the manuscripts from Timbuktu. For centuries, people in Timbuktu have written and collected texts on every imaginable subject. And after independence, these works were brought to light again after decades of persuasion and research. And the more texts the researchers found, the clearer it became: the library is by no means a purely Arabic cultural heritage. There are also texts in Bambara, Dogon, Peul, Songhay or Bozo. In this respect, the Timbuktu library is much more than the memory of an old Arab caravan town on the southern edge of the Sahara. It's a pan-African legacy, proof that the continent wasn't barren and empty before the arrival of Europeans.

My daughter, my granddaughter and I Binti yangu

My daughter, my granddaughter and I
Binti yangu, mume wangu na mimi

The way is long, the way is long

Burning hot desert sand, far, so far from homeland...

This is an old song lyrics that just came to my mind. I'm on the train going home. I was visiting my daughter and granddaughter. That was nice, but also exhausting. My granddaughter doesn't like me! It hurts, but that's how it is. When I came in the door, she hid right behind Mama. Willy the dog was happy for that. He barked, which must have meant, "Where have you been so long?" I also greeted him kindly, petting him and asking him, "Well, old boy, how are you?" Then he jumped up on me and distracted me.

I made myself comfortable and my daughter started to tell me a few things that I don't want to go into detail here, it only concerns her and me. She had a goulash on the stove, so she had to go to the kitchen more often, my grandson always following her. She definitely didn't want to be alone with me. Mom tried to persuade her, but it didn't help. At some point I got up and went into the kitchen, there we were all three. My daughter looked at me questioningly, "Where's the beer?" An important question! She gave me one and asks, "You sure drink two!" I really couldn't say no to that. "If you drink two, I'll take a sip and we can toast," my daughter explained. We did that too! My grandson wide-eyed and watched us. "You don't need to be afraid of grandpa, he doesn't bother you!" Did she understand that? Maybe, maybe not.

The goulash was lovely! The meat was buttery soft! After my stay in Kenya, I lost hope of being able to eat soft meat again. I enjoyed it and ate it all. In my enthusiasm for the goulash I would have forgotten about the dumplings! what can i say about it Just lovely! And an ice cold beer! The day is saved.

My daughter clears the table and goes into the kitchen. I go into the anteroom, get my phone. You can do it without a phone, I know, but if you have contact with Kenya, you need one. When I come back, my granddaughter stands up, wants to follow mom into the kitchen, stumbles and falls. I say: "Nothing happens!" and approach her. I notice that she is not afraid, I take advantage of that. "Would you like me to help you?" I asked hypocritically. She looks at me, I give her my hand and, it can't be true, she takes my hand without screaming and I help her get up. Pure madness! After two long years the ice is broken! Miracles happen! One thing happened today! And that's good. To me it's like a sunrise in the Caribbean! A wonderful day!

Such a day, as beautiful as today, such a day that should never go away!

Our problem with love - Tatizo letu kwa upendo

Our problem with love - Tatizo letu kwa upendo

Love can be a problem. Not always, but it can become a problem.

There are some loves. There is love for oneself, love for a country, for one's nation, for one's house, for one's neighbor, love for one's wife. Love is not simple. It has many facets. Why does a soldier go to war? There can be only one answer: because he loves his country, loves it more than his life. Along with grief and fear, love is one of the strongest emotions we can feel.

But there is also the love for his work. Einstein loved his work, it gave him joy. He knew that he was missing something, that his train of thought had a wrong direction. During a walk with a friend, it was just noon, they passed a church and just then the bells rang. There it fell to him like the scales from his eyes, it lacked the time! So he could complete his formula.

Interpersonal love is probably the most difficult love of all. When love begins, it is beautiful, sweet and fills us with joy. Love is not only the search for our counterpart, it is also the search for ourselves. Hormones control our libido. Genes that make us be faithful or tempt us to flings. Brain circuits that guide our deepest feelings. What does love mean to the individual? This feeling cannot be grasped with numbers, made tangible with formulas. Those who are in love are not thinking about biochemistry or spreading their genes. Love is something magical. It is unfathomable and yet so powerful that it can determine our entire lives: We look for a person who accepts us as we are. We long for a counterpart who accompanies and supports us. We desire to merge spiritually and physically with a partner. This is the desire for romantic love. An ideal that is deeply rooted in our consciousness.

Love does not last a lifetime, we are to blame for that. It is the influences to which we are exposed and which we have to put away. Life is not easy, it is complicated and love is not easy either. One must also be able to forgive. A quarrel is sometimes quite good, as emotions are discharged, freeing the mind and leading to a reunion. One must not be stubborn. The environmental influences, the social influences that affect us, that they do, whether we like it or not, we have to keep out of our relationship if possible. If we have problems, we should discuss them with our partners, so that they understand that we are under pressure and that this is also understood. The daily struggle for existence demanded strength and skill. Women, need protection, there are the men again in demand, they must provide this protection.

When can we say "I love you!" with all our heart?

Love is an independent force with many names, for example trust, appreciation, respect, honesty, tolerance, loyalty. The sum of our experiences since birth determines our later interpretation of love. When we speak of love, we must be ready to give and receive words of appreciation, togetherness, gifts that come from the heart, helpfulness and tenderness. Love is not a one-way street, it is not a highway either, love is something tender, fragile that must be protected and cared for.

A final word. Love is a disease, it can be painful, but it can also be beautiful. Love is the most beautiful disease we know.

The Departure - Kuondoka

 The Departure - Kuondoka -

It's that time again, a departure is imminent. my departure Madness also Kenyan.

Morning. Stand up. Have breakfast. Then the madness begins. To shower. Clean the apartment, feed the dog. Actually we wanted to leave at 9 o'clock. It was 11 o'clock.

We wait for a matatu on the highway, none comes. We go to the station. None here either. Lucky in misfortune, one has just driven away, the driver sees us, standing around helplessly, he pulls over, we can still get in. We're sitting in the last row.

We're leaving. The walk is not far, about 20 minutes. Everyone is drunk, the driver and apparently also the conductor. What the heck, that's Kenya. The driver drives slowly, a few times, it seems to me, he goes off the road, drives across the dirt road before finding the road again.

Some people get in. Underneath a fat woman. We are now history like anchovies in a canned doae. The woman is so fat that she can't get past me. She presses her bum in my face, it's no use, she's too fat. Now a discussion begins. Everyone is talking at once. Excitement! A child is sitting next to me. A child is sitting in front of me. Someone suggests that the kid in front of me comes to the kid next to me, that would work out. That's how it's done. Finally the fat woman has a place. Instead of 14 passengers, we are 17 passengers. No more space. The excitement dies down slowly.

We have to change. What a miracle, today there is no crowd, no getting on my nerves. People obviously know me. Peacefully and without being hit on in any way, we can climb the next matatu. Something is totally wrong today! That is impossible!

We sit comfortably in the rear of the matatu. We don't have to wait long, after 20 minutes the matatu is full. We're leaving. What is striking is that a conductor also drives me, which is unusual, because the matatu drives from A to B without stopping.

I don't have to be surprised for a long time, as soon as I'm out of town, the matatu stops, the driver gets out and the assumed conductor drives on. After a while another lady gets on. We are full now. Ready to go!

The journey was quite pleasant. I bumped my head against the roof of the car only twice, which is unusual. Finally we arrived safely.

Our first way to the bar. I left the Divine there, meanwhile I went to the reception to book a room.

The lady at the reception recognizes me immediately, a big smile shows her face.

"Sir, welcome, your back?"

That's exactly how I like it. They all know me here!

The beer is cold! What more do you need? A cold beer is half the life!

Is there a soul, and if so, where should it be in our body? Man, whose vital functions depend on nourishment and blood circulation, is a material product of vegetative Mother Nature. We have a beginning time, a heyday and a decaying time, and finally the end.

Can the "soul" be explained? The soul can perhaps be explained by the interaction of atoms and molecules and the resulting forces.

But science tells us that there is no soul. Science explains everything to us, sometimes hypothetically. As a result, we don't need a pastor, no religion, no morality, but we need the law of the strongest, which means that we open all the doors to the animal people. What are we to do with trifles such as morality, custom, self-confidence, striving, if there is no reason whatsoever?

Man is ennobled by the awareness of his noble descent, the knowledge on which our life is built.

So what is the soul? "The concept of the soul has a long history. Already in the Middle Ages it was much discussed. On the one hand the soul was considered to be the link between mind and body, on the other hand it was more ascribed to spirit, cognitive insight, rationality and the connection to God. In According to this idea, the soul decoupled from the body after death, was associated with eternal life. Around the 16th century, however, the soul became more associated with feelings, emotions and passions. Even today, the term " soul" many different definitions and perspectives," says Prof. Dr. dr Georg Northoff, neuroscientist, philosopher and psychiatrist. He is a professor of neuroethics at the chair set up especially for him.

What is new, however, is the insight into the brain, which we have only had for 20 or 30 years. Science now seems to say: everything is brain. However, what we do not yet know exactly is how neuronal activities are translated into mental activities, i.e. into subjective experience.

Even today we often assume that the mental states of people are something very special. They are a completely normal result of the spatial-temporal interaction between brain, body, environment and their fluctuation or waves. Brain waves or mental states are probably a result of evolution. Ultimately, however, this is a question of faith. Because science cannot provide empirical evidence for this - this is where natural science reaches its limits. It can only provide indications that mental states are connected to neuronal processes and spatial-temporal states.

I feel you in my heart

i feel you in my heart

i feel you in my spirit

You are still alive

That day is now and I hope that those who know our African history will write some books for us and for the generation to come

Africa is our focal point, our cultural and spiritual mother and father, our beating heart, no matter where we live on earth. (Dr John Henry Clark)

The earliest known history originated in Egypt and later in Nubia, the Sahel, the Maghreb and the Horn of Africa.

No one worships a deity/god in the image of other races except slaves! If a black person still worships white European gods, angels and Jesus, these people are nothing more than a slave! Genetically, black people have more dominant genes than other races. Archaeologically speaking, the oldest human skeleton named "Lucy", estimated to be 3.2 million years old, was discovered in 1974 in Tanzania, Africa. This should be an indication that black people are the original beings of this planet. If the supreme spirit behind creation has a color, it must be black because the first humans on this planet were black. Why should the spirit of creation look like a Caucasian that arose less than 8000 years ago? A good question for sure. Does God have a skin color? Who can answer this?

In Africa there are 54 countries and one "non-self-governing territory", Western Sahara.

All of Africa was colonized by foreign powers during the "Battle for Africa", with the exception of Ethiopia and Liberia.

Before colonial rule, Africa consisted of up to 10,000 different states and autonomous groups with different languages and customs.

The pharaonic civilization of ancient Egypt is one of the oldest and most enduring civilizations in the world.

The African continent is the oldest settled area in the world.

Arabic is spoken by 170 million people on the continent, followed by English (130 million), Swahili (100), French (115), Berber (50), Hausa (50), Portuguese (20), and Spanish (10). .

Over 25% of all languages are spoken only in Africa, with over 2,000 recognized languages spoken on the continent.

Africa is the second largest continent with about 16% of the world's population. Over 50% of Africans are under the age of 25.

The continent's population will more than double to 2.3 billion by 2050.

Africa is the world's poorest and least developed continent, with continental GDP accounting for just 2.4% of global GDP.

Almost 40% of adults in Africa are illiterate - two-thirds are women. Adult literacy rates are below 50% in Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Ethiopia, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Gambia.

Over 25 million people are HIV positive on the continent and over 17 million have already died from the disease.

The Second Congo War claimed over 5.4 million lives and is the deadliest global conflict since World War II.

Africa has fewer people connected to the internet than just New York City.

Approximately 90% of all malaria cases worldwide occur in Africa, accounting for 24% of all child deaths in sub-Saharan Africa.

The history of Africa begins with the emergence of hominids, archaic humans and - at least 200,000 years ago - anatomically modern humans (Homo sapiens). We have Africa to thank for much of what we have achieved today. Africa is the birthplace of humankind and knowing its history is important to understanding the global society that has grown around it.

Black people are the only people on this planet who have existed at all times and have been members of the ruling classes of all civilizations. Let's not be fooled. Most of the time they needed us to legitimize their rule.

"However, human evolution cannot be understood in isolation from the environment. The environment is not a static background but an interacting agent, and humans should be viewed as part of the biological community. A full understanding of human evolution would require a study of evolution of the community as a product of ecological interaction..." opined Louis Liebenberg, Liebenberg would not consider himself a Marxist, but this is one of the clearest expositions of historical materialism and the development of man and science in the community together through the confrontation with the material Environment.

Travel across the Indian Ocean was seasonal. The northeast monsoon winds of December and January brought dhows south toward Zanzibar and Madagascar. The southwest monsoon in July drove winds from the south and west, from East Africa towards Oman, the Persian Gulf and India. The monsoon meant that sailors, pilgrims, merchants and traders spent several months in each port before returning. They learned languages, worked and sometimes married, choosing either to settle in a new place or to bring a foreign wife home.

The presence of the ancient African civilizations of the west, the Nile valley, the south and the north can be found all over the planet and on all continents, therefore also in Europe, in Asia, in America, in Australia, on the islands.

Which scientifically means that the Afrikaans are the first inhabitants and the first peoples of the planet whose X gene was identified as Eve already rested in the DNA of all melanized women who preceded her, which is why we know that all of humanity is Black was on every continent and that all humanities that derived biologically from it can only be from mutant strains of Afrikaans DNA and never vice versa.

Africans were the masters of science. It has always been like this. The Moors, utilizing the sciences of Kemet, developed it to the point where they mastered the science of seafaring, cartography, navigation and piracy. During that centuries-long period, no European nation dared to mess with them. Pirate's career was successful. These Moorish adventurers grew rich and their strong places on the Barbary coast became populous and well organized. When we think of pirates today, we see a European face. This identity has also been whitewashed. The Africans have again been given a subordinate role in their own history. And Spain and Portugal, who are the first European nations to flourish, have benefited

Since the Afrikaans were once the largest and at the same time wealthiest people on earth, they have always been constant targets of other emerging civilizations in other regions who waged wars against them. They fought valiantly to keep the invaders out of the Afrakan continent, unfortunately rifts appeared over the centuries causing many people to start fleeing from Kemet and Khanit (Nubia) to other parts of the continent. This follows a major paradigm shift that took place in -525 before Christian mythological rule, particularly when the Persians finally broke their resistance in a mighty battle which Africans sadly lost, and later around -332, when Al Yskander (Alexander) of Macedon again broke into Kemet (Egypt).

In this way, these events will trigger even greater outbursts of African populations who did not want to be ruled by these successive waves of foreign oppressors, and that really started what I call the African dark ages, including the effects of those dark ages that unfortunately still exist endure, albeit slowly ending, but in which:

Afrikaans across the continent and in the diaspora have completely forgotten how great they still are and how imitated and copied endlessly.

They have completely forgotten that they civilized the world and that there would be no modern world without what the Africans brought with them.

They have forgotten that many museums in Europe and America are filled with the remains of our ancestors, the art of our ancestors and the wealth of our ancestors.

They forgot that Afrikaans art and architecture inspired Greek and Roman art and architecture.

They forgot that they taught Europeans what it means to be civilized, that they taught Pythagoras mathematics, that they taught Hippocrates the art of medicine, that they taught Socrates the art of philosophy and that they taught many other scholars in Europe who revered those great Afrikaans ancestors like Imhotep or Tehuti for their wisdom and brilliance, even for thousands of years after their death.

They forgot that most world religions are nothing more than plagiarism and copies of Afrikaans spirituality and that these religious foundations were stolen from Afrikaans and then bought back to Afrikaans when Afrikaans had completely forgotten who they were.

Many Africans and people of African descent today suffer from a great deal of amnesia for which no one but the Afrikaans themselves need to be cured of this devastating disease, the implications of which are what can be done. Let's call "the dark Afrikaans age, in which Afrikaans was mainly concerned with their survival and which unfortunately forgot most of what they had learned and known in the previous millennia, such as in Taseti (Kemet / Nubia ).

Life - Maisha

Life - Maisha

Your worst sin is that you have destroyed and betrayed for nothing. (Fodyo Dostoevsky)

Dhambi yako mbaya zaidi ni kwamba umeharibu na kusalitiwa kwa chochote. (Fodyo Dostoevsky)

Again and again Africa! The origin of all life! This has excited man's curiosity. Back then, in times long past, people were still faced with obstacles, external obstacles of a questionable civilization, there were still unknown miracles, if we think back today, it seems like a fairy tale.

People, driven by thirst for glory, ambition, but also by greed, went out and searched for easily obtainable natural treasures. And they came to spread culture with grandiloquent phrases, to teach the Christian religion to this heathen. In reality, they came to rob this continent. They came with great boldness, with the gold rush that infected them; Dominance, the oppression of the peoples had to advance to plunder the natural resources in these unknown regions.

Much was wrestled with the black continent. Some legends have reached Europe and have inspired some people to visit this continent.

Man needs Africa, there are plenty of deposits here that are needed in the rest of the world. With this economic power, belts are produced that mainly only benefit the wealthy. Therefore, a small note should be made here. What is the use of man that he elicits her secrets from nature, uncovers them, copies them, makes them available to the people, if the beneficiaries are only the rich? Science and its achievements should be common property! Don't we all have a right to culture? How does man come to the point that he has to be divided into two classes, namely those who only enjoy and those who have to work for those who enjoy, but are nevertheless excluded from enjoyment. Is it a problem in our society? The only answer to that is yes. Our society is divided into those who exploit and those who are exploited. Some people may feel comfortable about what is right and what is wrong; divine truth cannot be killed; she raises her head to the chagrin of this society. This society has much to fear, namely that the benefits they possess will be snatched away from them. For these people, that would be the end of their unemployment. This acquisition is, in any case, the supreme goal, an ideal state that discourages physical exertion. Now one might think that the Church would intervene to regulate this. The church is content to lead people to God. It leads man to his true goal. What is this goal now? To become blessed, one could answer. And what is this bliss? When God's will is done, one is saved. And now we come back. What is God's will? "Love God above all things and your neighbor as yourself."

And those who were seen dancing where thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. (Friedrich Nietzsche)

How to get things done and stop procrastinating

How to get things done and stop procrastinating

Many people hesitate when they have something to do. There is simply a lack of courage to do something, to get it done. Many people then take refuge in procrastination. Unfortunately, procrastination is as terrible as an illness. It destroys productivity while waging an internal struggle to stay away from distractions that prevents them from getting back to work. What can you do to get things done?

Many entrepreneurs think they are productive, consider themselves productive.

But of those many entrepreneurs who describe themselves as productive, you can count on both hands how many of them are high performers. The majority works at a low level. Many think they work, talk a lot, do little. It is not enough for an entrepreneur just to talk, what is required are decisions. What is important is to be informed. Only those who are well informed can make a decision, and it has to be the right one. A lot of head work is required.

It shouldn't take too long for us to get the information we want, sometimes it's not even possible to get the information we need, maybe it doesn't exist at all, then it's necessary to jump in "at the deep end", we can't always waiting until something is perfect to try something new. We have to act quickly, adapt, try things out and then see what needs to be changed and improved. This is also a learning process that we are all subject to. We have to learn, because only those who learn progress, their mind will be able to grasp the future better and thus have a better future. .

Most people attend conferences, take notes, go home, and get back to their daily lives. Forget everything, because everyday life has her back and, as we all know, it's terrible. Others are just waiting for what, the Holy Spirit isn't coming.

So when you have an idea, it is necessary to make a decision, bold and full of confidence. We can't wait for an egg to hatch. Take action. It's all about speed! First come, first served. In other words, whoever is faster than the others has an advantage and that can make all the difference. What we don't know is how much money we'll lose if we don't take action. And that in turn means a delay and that is poverty.

Sometimes procrastination is done until the “last minute”. People may postpone personal issues, health issues, home care issues, or academic/work commitments. This can lead to feelings of guilt, inadequacy, depression, and self-doubt.

What do you mean by these problems listed above? Personal problem can be that a partner causes problems; health problems can be, a visit to the dentist (who goes to a dentist without a stomach ache?); domestic problem can be that the toilet is not tight. It is a great struggle for most people to get some work done for college. Procrastination is the gap between intention and action. As already mentioned, go to work with courage, don't hesitate, just tackle it, that's the only way to get ahead.

Procrastinators try to justify putting things off by saying they don't have the time to do what they need to do. However, this excuse usually means that they will be even more busy later. The time is always the same no matter how “busy” they are.

You have to deal with the procrastination, put it aside, deal with the guilt, the fear, the stress, and of course not getting things done.

One should try to answer "nothing" with this banal question: "What did you do today". Sure, it's a lie, of course you did something, but it wasn't anything important, nothing that would have made the individual person happier, more complete or more relaxed.

What was done was spending 8 hours kicking himself, lying down and saying to himself "I really have to do...".

That has to end! Every beginning is difficult, it is particularly difficult for those who postpone the beginning. The inner bastard has to be overcome and that can only be done with panache. Often we have a task that we think we cannot solve. In this case, we have to be particularly careful and thoughtful about our work. Plunging into this task is not recommended. Here, first of all, a plan must be made, which means finding a way of approaching this task. A good plan is half the solution! Once you have the plan, you can work through it point by point.

Is a reward a good motivator? Of course, a reward is a good idea. This is only valid for your own reward, when dealing with employees this might not be such a good idea, it might not increase motivation. Offering yourself rewards is just common sense.

In this context, we should not forget that we are descended from apes. In essence, we are just hairless monkeys. That's how we work too. A little candy increases our attention. We humans learned that from monkeys. So we have to reward ourselves to complete the task.

Gin and our time

Gin - There are wines that get better with age. Then there are years that only get better with wine.
Gin - kuna mvinyo ambao hupata bora zaidi ya miaka. Kisha kuna miaka ambayo ni bora tu na mvinyo

What is gin? Gin (from French genévrier: juniper) is a mostly colorless spirit with juniper (juniper schnapps) and the main ingredient in many cocktails, such as the martini, the negroni and the long drink gin and tonic. (Wikipedia).

The middle of the 17th century, the first document reports on the juniper brandy called Genever by the doctor Franciscus Sylvius. As William III. von Orange-Nassau ascended the English throne in 1689, he brought the Genever with him from his homeland. He made the production of juniper schnapps tax-free and at the same time imposed high taxes on the import of French alcoholic beverages. Also English soldiers, the Dutch in the

Dutch-Spanish War

supported, brought this liquor to the British Isles, where it was given the name gin. A decree in 1690 stipulated that gin could only be produced from English grain. So much for the beginning.

Gin is in high demand in Kenya, especially chrome gin. Who is drinking gin in Kenya now and why? I drink it, sometimes, not always, did I mention it, I'm a beer drinker!

In Europe, where the gin taps flow, women served gin in teapots and mugs in public places. This was to escape the spying eyes of judging society in the 19th century. "It was the best bait, their best secret weapon," said a Scot.

It started as a way to avoid public drink shaming, instead evolved into a culture where men joined the trend, and then quickly evolved into a tradition that has lasted for generations. It was only natural that iced tea would later be served with a shot of gin, especially in Europe during the summer when the days are warmer. Not so much in Kenya. According to the International Wines and Spirits Record Report (IWSR), Kenyans' thirst for gin tripled to 711,000 cases in 2016, equivalent to 6.3 million litres, versus 245,000 cases in 2011. Unfortunately, those are old numbers, it's safe to assume that gin consumption has increased significantly. From my own experience I can say that every Kenyan drinks gin. Many don't drink Chrome, it's probably one of the cheaper ones, many drink the imported gin from Great Britain. Common gin brands on the market include Gilbey's, Beefeater and Gordons, with gin alcohol content averaging 40%.

This made gin the third most consumed spirit among Kenyans, behind cane spirit, whose 2016 intake was 2.1 million cases, equivalent to 18.9 million litres, and vodka's consumption of 1.2 million cases, or 10 .8 million liters.

As an Austrian I can only say: "Not bad!"

According to Euromonitor International, gin is the fastest growing beverage in the spirits category worldwide. In the UK, for example, annual gin sales rose 16 per cent to surpass £1 billion for the first time, prompting the spirits industry to declare 2016 the 'Year of Gin'.

(Business Daily)

But gin also has effects, one of which should be briefly mentioned here. High gin consumption among women drove sales for the year, with the company forecasting a strong recovery from the coronavirus crisis. This as the company saw sales grow 15 per cent to Sh86 billion, driven by smart investments in brands, distribution channels and innovation. The business is doing well. The brewer has also made profits on off-trade sales.

(Star)

Here's a final word. Gin, as I see it, is the national drink of Kenya, whether man or woman, everyone drinks it and, as we have seen, not too little. But what's the point? Enjoy the meal. Bottom up!

Every war is a defeat of the human spirit. (Henry Miller)

Every war is a defeat of the human spirit. (Henry Miller)

Kila vita ni kushindwa kwa roho ya mwanadamu. (Henry Miller)

It's the weekend again and the market is open. It's a beautiful day, the sun is shining, it's warm, but the wind is blowing strong. The wind is so strong that the trees bow to me, which I'm not uncomfortable with, who else bows to me. This time I'm going with slippers and not, as usual, with shoes. My divine, my God look down on us, doesn't mind at all. I have to be amazed! I'll take two bags with me, then we'll go.

U can't touch it man, Ni mwendo wa risasi (Gun Shot) aaaaaaaaaahaah It's yo boy Rocka - Quick Rocka Just doin ma thing man, n' this is ma Bullet You - you hehehe! Listen this man

The road to the market is rocky and dusty. We are walking across a street, a gust of wind blows up dust, driving it into our eyes and nose. We wear a mask, pull it over our face, try to protect our nose and mouth, we close our eyes for a few seconds, which doesn't really help. The dust scratches your eyes. We stumble along.

Children playing on the side of the road. "Mzungu!," they call and when I wave at them, they are happy.

Today the market is full. Kiosks are set up around the market area. Clothes, shoes, household items are sold here. In the market itself, which is surrounded by buildings, there are fruits and vegetables. There are many vendors, mostly selling the same thing, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, carrots...

As always, we'll start with the pineapple. The good man already knows me. He greets friendly and also pleased: "Hello, sir!" What could I want more! A young woman approaches me, obviously his wife, she says something I still can't understand. The man is not far away from me, he enlightens her: "That's my friend!" So there is no problem, she turns to other customers.

We walk back and forth, the wind is not pleasant, many vendors lie on the ground, their heads hidden under a cloth.

Sometimes it seems to me that we are running in circles, which we certainly are.

We found our tomato lady in this turmoil. We buy some. My Divine pays with a big bill. I am amazed! The saleswoman takes a handful of banknotes from her apron. Now my divine marvels. "There's a lot of money! I'd like to do a deal like that too!" The saleswoman grins, gives the change. Finally, we get two extra tomatoes! Well, why not?

We'll be done soon. The bags are full and heavy. "May I help you?" the divine asks me. "No," I reply.

It's really not easy to carry those two heavy bags. The wind that kicks up the dust hasn't slowed down. My eyes are burning, my throat is scratching, I slowly drag myself along, back to my sweet home.

A man is sitting on the side of the road. He sees me struggling. "Help the old man!," he calls out to the Divine. As always, I don't understand anything. "What did he say?" I ask her. she tells me "He doesn't make friends like that!," is all I can say. "Who is old here?" I already feel hurt. I keep fighting towards the house.

Ukraine - Russian War

Unfortunately, the worst fears of the Western world have become reality in recent days, with Russia attacking Ukraine. Although the unfortunate escalation of the Russian government had been apparent for some time, the financial markets reacted very violently.

Wilson could it come to this? To answer this question we have to look a bit into the past. Mass demonstrations in Kyiv, later known as the "Euromaidan" or simply "Maidan" protests, began in late 2013 after then-President Viktor Yanukovych decided to postpone the signing of an EU Association Agreement. Initially peaceful protests were joined by hardline nationalists, which escalated into violent riots in Kyiv and takeovers of government buildings across Ukraine. In February 2014, pro-Western factions overthrew Yanukovych's government and officials with notable pro-EU and anti-Moscow stance came to power. While the Maidan events found broad support in the western parts of Ukraine, The eastern and southern regions, which have large Russian-speaking populations and strong historical ties to Russia, have strongly opposed the events in Kyiv. In cities like Odessa, anti-Maidan protests were soon violently crushed. Pro-Russian protests continued in the eastern regions of Donetsk and Lugansk and in the Black Sea Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

In a first reaction, stocks literally collapsed. Safe havens such as government bonds, gold and the well-known safe haven currencies yen, Swiss francs and the US dollar have risen. Naturally, there were also high fluctuations in oil and gas prices. The war in Ukraine also affects the European gas and oil markets. In this context, the ADAC announced in a statement on Monday that the price of petrol and diesel had risen by more than five cents per liter over the past days. European markets are more exposed than their US or Asian counterparts.

The West

In a first reaction, the West is very united and determined to counter Russian aggression. Which concrete sanctions will be imposed is currently still the subject of negotiations.

Systematic sanctions against the Russian financial system aimed at cutting off the main Russian banks from transactions in euros and US dollars are very likely. It remains to be seen whether the sharpest weapon - an exclusion from the payment system SWIFT - will follow.

An embargo on gas and oil supplies would also hit Russia hard. In contrast to the USA, however, European economies would also be negatively affected. The importance of Russia for the euro zone arises from its wealth of raw materials. The logical consequence for European consumers would be sharply rising energy prices in response to a halt to gas and oil supplies.

The euro zone

The recovery that is emerging in the euro zone could also be somewhat flatter in view of the events. According to an ECB study, a 10% drop in gas supply would reduce gross value added in the euro area by 0.7%. Despite all the dampening effects, we do not see a scenario of economic stagnation for the euro zone.

The ECB

However, increasing uncertainty could prompt the ECB to take a slightly more cautious tack. Initial reactions from European currency watchdogs point to a delay in switching towards normalized monetary policy. On the other hand, the risk of inflation has increased further as a result of the escalation in Ukraine.

There has never been a danger of a nuclear strike, no nuclear war, there won't be, because a nuclear strike will put an end to the whole thing - and our lives too.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the nuclear force to be put on alert in a televised conversation with top officials. The Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian armed forces for strategic deterrence [the nuclear forces, ed. Editorial office] to be put on "special alert". In a conversation with Defense Minister Shoigu and Chief of Staff Gerasimov, the President cited aggressive statements from the West as the reason for this step, which was to be reacted to. He said, "You can see that Western countries are not only taking unfriendly measures against our country in the economic sphere. I am talking about unlawful sanctions, as everyone knows very well. But top officials in leading NATO countries are also making aggressive statements about our country Therefore,

Of course that has an impact. The NATO Response Force has been deployed to Romania, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday at a press conference after meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Regarding the Ukraine war, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, who resigned as prime minister in 2020 but currently leads the main fact within the ruling LDP party, says Ukraine would not have faced an invasion from Russia if they had some would have kept their nuclear weapons . He further said: "Japan should also consider various options in its discussions." This includes the sharing of nuclear weapons, Abe said on a Fuji Television program. Japan is the only country to have experienced a nuclear attack. According to the country's pacifist post-war constitution, Tokyo relies on the US "nuclear umbrella" to ward off threats, the Sumikai portal writes.

Some time ago, B-52 bombers were transferred to Great Britain from the USA. Since then, one of these machines has been in the air more or less constantly. The B-52 are long-range strategic bombers designed for use with nuclear weapons. Since US nuclear weapons are also stored in Europe (including in Büchel, currently in Nörvenich), these flights with B-52 bombers are already threats with nuclear weapons. These flights lead to the Ukrainian border or, as a few days ago, to the Baltic Sea region together with the Polish Air Force.

We are inundated with fake news. This is the 'Cold War'. It is run internationally. We read newspapers, watch TV, think we are informed. Is that us? No, we are not! We only know what is told to us and it is often not what we should know.

According to Facebook's internal guidelines reviewed by The Intercept, Facebook will "allow praise for the Azov Battalion if it explicitly and exclusively praises its role in defending Ukraine or its role as part of the Ukrainian National Guard." Among the internally published examples of speech that Facebook now deems acceptable are: "Azov Movement volunteers are real heroes, they are much needed support for our National Guard"; "We are under attack. Azov has bravely defended our city for the last 6 hours"; and "I think Azov is playing a patriotic role in this crisis."

The Azov battalion was formed in 2014 and was supposed to take the mainly Russian-inhabited provinces in the Donbass by blitzkrieg. They did not succeed, but for 8 years a bitter war of terror has been waged against the civilian population there - not only with the approval, but on the direct orders of the Ukrainian government, which had swept to power after a "color revolution" financed by George Soros and the US Embassy, among others.

What could not better illustrate the double standards of the oh-so-good and oh-so-left than this absolutely sick measure? As The Intercept reports, for the duration of the Ukraine war, Facebook has allowed praise of the fascist and Nazi Azov Battalion fighting on the Ukrainian side. Previously, content about the military grouping was censored - this was also convenient, as it made it less obvious to the public who was fighting for the "good" Ukraine.

In advance, however, we would like to advise against breaking out in jubilation and spreading photos of the swastika- and SS-rune-wielding Azov fighters. Just because Facebook is changing its "community standards" does not mean that the national prohibition laws in Germany and Austria are out of force. Should the constitutional protection agency and the judiciary also "turn a blind eye" here, the already shaky democracy has another serious problem.

And that's not all. The Robert Koch Institute no longer classifies Ukraine and some immediate neighboring countries as high-risk areas. This makes it easier for refugees to enter the country. Belarus and the Russian Federation are still classified as risk areas. The Robert Koch Institute regularly updates the information on high-risk areas on its website. It says officially on the site: "Information on the designation of international risk areas by the Federal Foreign Office, BMG and BMI." On February 25, at 1:30 pm, the page was updated with the following note: "The risk area classification list below is effective from Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 0:00 am

Everything is being done to help Ukraine.

Deliveries of arms are not seen.

In an interview with NDR Info, Christian Mölling, military expert at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), expressed the suspicion that weapons supplied by Germany to Ukraine could go via Poland. In any case, the armaments would be handed over to Ukrainians outside of Ukraine. These would then transport the weapons to the appropriate units. However, the expert ruled out a direct delivery from Germany to Ukraine. You are dealing with weapons whose handling is "relatively easy to learn". The types of weapons delivered from Germany are the only ones that meet this requirement and that also "achieve a military effect". Specifically, it's about bazookas and "Stinger" anti-aircraft missiles. the aim is

Former US President Trump also referred to the war in Ukraine in a speech to supporters in Florida. The real problem is that US political leaders are stupid. Speaking at the Republican Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida, former US President Donald Trump said of the war in Ukraine: "The problem is not that Putin is smart, because of course he's smart, but the real problem is that our political leaders are stupid." In his speech, Trump also warned that "a major war could very well break out in Europe." Trump also described sanctions against Russia as ineffective. More on the topic – live ticker on the Ukraine was: Ukraine agrees to negotiations with Russia in Belarus.

Another small paragraph on this war.

Are Russia's fears that the West plans to station nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine unfounded? no way. The Law of Ukraine "On the admission procedures and conditions of the armed forces of other states on the territory of Ukraine" (Supreme Council of Ukraine, 2000, number 17, page 122), adopted by the parliament in Kyiv in 2000, allows the temporal limited stationing of nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction by foreign troops. During the 2015 was against residents of Donetsk and Lugansk, the Rada updated some sections of the law. After that, Ukraine wants to control the location of such carrier weapons on its territory itself. Article 4, paragraph 2 states: "...

Apart from the fears mentioned above, which are certainly justified, I am personally opposed to this war. Simply put, it is unnecessary. The reason for waging a war may be correct, only this war does not solve any problems, on the contrary, it only creates new problems. No matter what comes out of this conflict, the President of Ukraine will become a hero. Ukraine will be accepted into the EU and she will be welcomed into NATO with open arms. Russia will not benefit!

What we are already seeing is a renewed arms race. Germany is investing 100 billion in its military. You have to see it in the right corner of the eye. Germany had no money to expand the hospital system!

The economic effects on Russia, but also on Europe, cannot really be estimated yet. Everyone sanctions everyone, and everyone gets hit.

The fear is around. Potassium iodine tablets are no longer available in Austria. It is recommended to stock up on groceries. The gas price has risen, the fuel price is hardly affordable anymore.

It does not look good.

NATO no longer has a right to exist. There is no more enemy! The USSR is gone, the Warsaw Pact is gone, only NATO is there. Putin wanted to be admitted to NATO, but that was rejected. That would probably have meant the end of NATO.

What a beautiful world we would have
